Want to know who are you working with?
My name is D.J. and I’m kind of obsessed with making websites better.
Why I do this
Many years ago, I had a very different business — I ran a successful screen printing shop. Most of my customers were clothing brands or non-profits, and their owners would often express frustration with managing a website on top of all the other tasks of running a small business. Because I had experience in building websites, I started helping some of them fix their sites — on top of printing apparel.
After 12 years and a million shirts, my squeegee arm got tired, so I decided to close the print shop and devote myself 100% to managing websites.
With 25 years’ experience building websites and over 15 in WordPress alone, I still love what I do. I regularly contribute to open source projects and participate in the WordPress community. And occasionally, I still print t-shirts for fun.

I love working with DJ on our website copy! It’s engaging, well-written, targets our intended audience, and is primed for SEO. DJ is also super easy to work with.

We’ve been working with DJ for a couple years now and have been very happy with (their) work. (DJ is) very responsive, completes our requests quickly and stays on top of things without us even asking. (They) redid our website last year and many of our clients are pleased with how it came out. Thank you DJ!

Working with DJ for my WordPress refresh project was spectacular! Thank you DJ for going above and beyond and delivering not only a site that I love but also great communication and customer service from start to finish!

DJ IS AWESOME! I had a website in a state of disarray before DJ came on board. Communication was always prompt, suggestions were so helpful, implementations were quick and my website was much better with their help. Highly recommend!

Am I a Real Human?
Yes! I have a family, I eat food, I restore vintage things, and I enjoy running long distances. I’m currently located just outside of Chicago, but I get to work with people all around the world.
